Valedictory Speech♥
The principal , Mrs. Miriam Villadares; beloved teachers, dear parents, friends, fellow AYAns, ladies and gentlemen good afternoon:
Graduation day is not the end but rather the beginning of new challenges of life. 6 years ago I just entered my beloved alma mater and now I am leaving the portals . Time flew fast …..I will always remember and put into practice the principles and teachings of our dear teachers and mentors. I will always cherish the good times we had with you all.
On behalf of the graduating class, I would like to express my profound gratitude to our beloved school, our administrators, teachers and staff for being there to give us quality education that we need; Thank you too to our dear parents whose sacrifices are unbeatable. Day and night they continue to love, care and work for us…To you we dedicate our awards and diplomas; to you, fellow AYAns we challenge you for we are now leaving our beloved school and we want to entrust to you the responsibilities and welfare of Academy of Young Achievers.
We challenge you to continue the good virtues that our school taught us. May you continue to serve and give pride to our school and may you stay disciplined and good students.
To the next batch of graduating class, we challenge you to set good examples to your younger fellow AYAns. Inspire them through your success and good deeds. Now that our batch is leaving our beloved school .. lead, guide, and protect the foundation of our school. If possible, attain more achievements than what our batch garnered. Be ready to face the challenges next school year.
To my fellow batch mates, I would like to congratulate all of you since all of us have finished and graduated the elementary level. Another memory will be left behind, and a new chapter of our lives will be opened. I want you to keep in mind everything that we have learned in our AYASchool. Use their teachings as a compass that will direct your life and destiny.
Personally,I would also want to take this opportunity to thank my parents who are always there to support me even if they were very busy with their work, the unending love, and inspiration that pushed me to study harder to be the best that I could be, inspite of my shortcomings and naughtiness; to my late lola Lydia who is now in heaven who also contributed much of this success, my Lolo Joe for the love and understanding and to my cousins Ressel and Weng who are always there to help me in my day to day activities. I also give thanks to my teachers, especially teacher Yam for the love and pieces of advice she had given me, You are truly an inspiration to me, to Teacher Jo for the challenge you had always given me and to all my teachers from grades I to VI for the good examples and the love and care you showed to me. Thank you very much and I will treasure everything that I have learned from you. I am very proud to say that I am a true young achiever and I studied in the Academy of young Achievers which made me what I am now . I may be leaving this school but I will still live with her virtue and it will always be my second home, The Academy of Young Achievers. Thank you and have a great day!
